I need urgent help

If you feel like you are in need of urgent help and want to talk to someone you have the following options:

For urgent medical attention, you can call 999, visit Accident & Emergency (A&E) or make an Emergency GP appointments.

For urgent medical advice you can call the NHS on 111 (England).

Safe Connections 

Safe connections is a self-referral service that provides a warm and safe space to explore suicidal feelings, triggers, and the underlying causes. We will also support people to find and access other local services in the community, that can support to manage, reduce, or stop suicidal feelings from coming back altogether.

The Safe Connections Helpline number is: 0300 561 0115 and will operate Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

Anyone who calls outside of our operating hours can leave an answerphone message and we will get back to them as soon as possible. Or, if making the first call is challenging for someone, then people can email us at [email protected] and we can call them to start conversations and connections.

The Together Cafés

A new café space offering support for people in mental health crisis opens its doors to visitors in Newham & Tower Hamlets

The Together Café in Newham is open every Monday to Thursday and on bank holidays from 5pm to 9pm and on Fridays and weekends from 5-11pm. 365 days a year.

The Together Café in Tower Hamlets is open every Monday to Friday 5pm to 9pm, and weekends and Bank Holidays 12pm to 9pm, 365 days a year.
