Mind in Tower Hamlets, Newham and Redbridge are seeking Peer Support workers to join the team at the Together Cafe: our out-of-hours drop-in service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed, seeking support and advice for their mental health. The service is based in Stratford, London. Staff within the service will provide person-centred, practical, and emotional support, face to face or via telephone on a one-to-one or group basis to individuals experiencing mental health crisis.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the Newham Together Café Team in the delivery of support to residents presenting with mental health crisis, accessible 365 days a year.

Counselling Coordinator (7.5 hours p/w)
Mind in Tower Hamlets, Newham and Redbridge (MindTHNR) has a strong reputation for delivering good quality counselling services for over 20 years, achieving positive recovery outcomes.
This is a BACP accredited service and operates using a volunteer counselling placement model alongside paid clinical counselling staff, delivering bereavement counselling to adults living in Newham.
The Counselling Coordinator will be required to complete, oversee and screen clinical counselling assessments and referrals, provide administrative and data support for the smooth running of the counselling services including managing administrative assistants, and provide duty management to therapists in accordance with safeguarding policies and procedures.

Head of Services
The Head of Services will be responsible for overseeing the effective delivery, performance, and quality assurance of a range of our mental health services in Tower Hamlets, Newham, and Redbridge.
Working closely with the Director of Services and other key stakeholders, you will inspire and lead a team of Service Managers and coordinators, providing them with the guidance, encouragement and support needed to deliver high-quality services.
This key role focuses on continuously improving services and keeping our service users at the centre of everything we do, with innovative approaches to meet their changing needs. Your leadership will be crucial in building strategic relationships with partners and stakeholders, improving service delivery, and promoting collaboration across the board.
Moreover, as a Designated Safeguarding Officer, you will lead the highest standards in ensuring the safety and protection of service users, providing expert safeguarding guidance, supporting staff, and liaising with external agencies when necessary.
