What is Talking Therapies?

Talking Therapies is a type of therapy which involves talking to a trained professional about your thoughts, feelings and behaviour. It provides a safe and confidential space to talk to someone who won’t judge you. Talking Therapies can help you make sense of things and understand yourself better. Our Therapists will help you discuss next steps and any changes that you want to make to feel more positive about your life.

Who is it for?

Our counselling service can offer help across a range of difficulties. Some of our clients come to reflect on or adjust to significant life events or life experiences from the past.  Some feel stuck or unsure of what to do next and want to come to terms with changes and life events so they can move on.  Some come to manage their uncertainty about their relationships, work, home etc.  Some have suffered a bereavement and need a safe place to process and make sense of their loss.

What we offer?

We offer a range of individual one to one therapy and group approaches to those above the age of 18 years.

These services are available Monday to Friday as well some evenings.

Our Counselling and Psychotherapy services are accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). As an accredited service by the BACP, the Psychological Therapies team operate within the Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
