Mind in London – Mayoral and London Assembly elections manifesto 2024!

We’re asking the next Mayor of London to work with us and strive to improve the mental wellbeing of all Londoners by addressing the 5 key priorities set out in our manifesto.

We want to ensure that no London mind is left behind.

We are calling on the next London Mayor to take action for the mental health of our city and ensure that no London mind is left behind.

Londoners are facing increasing pressures from every aspect of life. Housing instability, a cost of living crisis and increasing poverty and deprivation to name a few. This is only made worse by budget cuts to services, the long-term effects of the pandemic and a marked rise in children and young people facing mental health problems. We also know that poor mental health disproportionately affects people from communities who already face a number of pre-existing inequalities and those numbers are rising.

We are asking the next Mayor of London to work with us to improve the mental health of all Londoners by addressing the five key priorities set out in our manifesto:

  1. Support Londoners who are affected by the ongoing cost of living crisis and those who are experiencing poverty.
  2. Tackle the health inequalities that Londoners face due to race and ethnicity.
  3. Protect and improve the mental health of London’s children and young people.
  4. Invest in London’s communities by improving access to community services.
  5. Support Londoners to access stable, good quality housing.

We need the next Mayor of London to make the mental wellbeing of the city we love a priority. Will you read our full manifesto to find out how?

Together we can ensure that no London mind is left behind.
